ORANGE AND HONEY GLAZED SALMON
3 servings

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons butter
  • 1/5 cup orange juice
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 3 salmon fillets (with or without skin)
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • salt and pepper
Steps:

  1. Heat butter in a pan over medium heat. Brown your salmon fillets with the skin UP for 4 minutes. Then flip and let it stay there for around 2 minutes. Meanwhile, get your other ingredients ready.
  2. Pour the orange juice, and let it evaporate for a bit. If you have too much juice, the sauce will be too liquid (it'll still be delicious, and it thickens when it cools down anyway)
  3. Add the garlic in whatever way you please: minced, crushed, or in a paste. As long as it's fragant it's alright!
  4. Move the salmons to the side and add the honey and soy sauce, stirring until they mix and the honey melts (I use solid/crystalized honey usually)
  5. Keep the salmon on the pan until you think it's nicely cooked (around a minute or two, probably). Season with salt and pepper and it's ready! Drizzle the sauce on the fillets and on top of whatever you're eating this with (rice, potatoes...), there will be enough of that sweet sauce for everything. Enjoy!
